• The specially designed ribs keep granualed soils away from the slots and increase the permeability rating to DOUBLE that of the smooth exterior screens.
• The exterior ribs contribute to the increased screen strenght (Collapse resistance increases multifold).
• The rounded ribs prevent direct contact of the sand and gravel with the sceen exterior in the area of the slots, this ensures exceptional hydraulic properties to these screens as the water has unimpeded entry into the screen slots.
• The ribs increase the area of cross section of the pipes, thus providing higher avoial load rating.
• The hydraulic advantage can be utilized in wells which have a high output relatively small screen diameter.
